Our current facilities need upgrading.
The physical plant is aging and the demands for space are growing. In recent years, we have spent a great deal of time studying options for the future of our building. We are happy to say that an architect has now been selected and the designs are being finalized. We hope to begin construction in May 2012.
To fund the costs of this project, we began fundraising in the autumn of 2007. Since then, dozens of people have committed to help with their prayers, talents and financial contributions, according to their best abilities. One friend agreed to double his monthly contribution. Another supporter, when asked to consider making a donation, promptly contributed many thousands of dollars. Still another benefactor has approached a large number of friends, family and colleagues to solicit contributions, while also increasing his own monthly financial donation.
As a result of much effort, prayer and generosity we have made a very good start to achieving our expected total cost of $12 million, but we still need more help.
In the words of a Chinese proverb, it is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. Ernescliff is one such candle in Ontario. Let’s strive to make it glow even brighter. DONATE HERE.
