Ernescliff College ResidentsErnescliff is a university residence and student centre for young men located at the heart of the University of Toronto’s downtown campus.
Ernescliff offers an environment that helps young men take full advantage of their university education. Everyone who spends time at Ernescliff contributes to its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The Ernescliff experience encourages these young men to seek excellence in all aspects of their lives. It equips them to serve society with their creativity and energy, inspired by human and Christian ideals.
Ernescliff is open to students from all social, ethnic and religious backgrounds, starting in Grade 9.
Our activities and services for students include:
- High school development courses
- Professional development courses for university students
- Opportunities for social work
- Personal tutoring and counselling
- Study space
- Quiet and friendly residence for university students
- Courses in Christian doctrine
- Talks on developing one’s spiritual life
- Leisure and cultural activities
The activities of doctrinal and spiritual formation which take place at Ernescliff are entrusted to Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church founded in 1928 by Saint Josemaría Escrivá.
Ernescliff College is operated by Ernescliff Foundation, a charitable organization (Federal Charity number: 11897 0979 RR 0001).
